Timex 1440

This a basic sport watch good for basic training and everyday use. It's well build, comfortable and include all the basic functions you'd expect from a watch of this range. It's great value for the money and a good daily beater. 1440 are the minutes in a day, hence the name.

Notes

I bought this watch because it was cheap and seemed well built and resistant. It is. It's some great pros: a good legible display, a really good Indiglo back light and a very comfortable strap. I also love the stopwatch feature that shows only the meaningful digits.

The annoying thing is the strap itself or, to be more precise, the way the strap is attached to the case of the watch: when you have to change the battery you have to remove the strap, otherwise you won't be able to open the case back. Once the battery is replaced, the strap is nearly impossibile to be put into place again - at least I didn't succeded. With a 16mm width lugs you can put on a nato strap and live happy.
