Casio W59
This is one of the classic Casio digital watches; originally released in 1981, this watch is still in production. A quite small sized timepieces which packs all the basic features, it has proven to be comfortable, lightweight and really resistant to abuses, although the dial might need to be somehow restored from time to time, as it's prone to scratches. The only downsides I've found in this watch are the lack of a countdown timer, a poor display illumination and the need for a more resistant strap. One of my preferred beaters anyway.

Notes
This has been my only hard work watch for quite some time. I like it because its lightweight and fits perfectly under my working gloves, being completely unobtrusive. Now I use it only when a proper dial illumination is not a must for what I have to do.
