Implementation
Implementation is the last step of the consolidation process. Once the solution is fully tested, it can be deployed. There few last steps before the consolidation process is completed.
System and integration test
The final solution must be tested at any level needed to ensure it properly works once deployed in production. This step includes performances tests and simulated backup and recovery.
Pilot implementation
A Pilot is carried out to test the roll-out process under realistic conditions. This involves a small scale implementation and a selected group of users. It should identify any aspect that needs to be improved before the complete consolidation solution is deployed.
Final implementation
The complete consolidated solution is put into production.
